Vedant

Vedanth is a a trained Hindusthani and Carnatic classical vocalist, under the tutelege of Sri Ramamurthy Rao and Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. A qualified guitarist from the Trinity College of Music. Has a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology and an MBA in Corporate Communication. Has done research in Music Therapy and worked with autistic children.

Vedanth has recently produced and released his first album Mati Kahe, songs from the Bhakti Movement. Comprises of songs by seven poets Kabir, Namdev, Mirabai, Tulasidas, Purandaradas, Surdas and Gurunanak. The album is an acoustic interpretation of the music written by the mystic poets, having combined the classical vocal rendition with the guitar and, Indian and Arfican percussion. 

Vedanth makes music for films, documentaries, ads, dance, theater, albums, etc.
